Getaway in Running Springs

Right before the holidays, we went on a fun little getaway with our friends in Running Springs with each family staying at a Getaway house. If you haven’t heard of Getaway before, it’s basically a very photogenic way to glamp. They’re tiny cabins nestled into the forest and spaced out far enough so you really feel like you’re on a - well - getaway. They encourage disconnecting from tech while taking in the company you have as well as the beautiful surroundings. A slightly modern way to forest bathe :).

If you’re not quite ready to tent camp, it’s a great option. We were lucky enough to be there with some fresh snow mid-December, and it made the scenery just that much more beautiful. It really added to our holiday magic, and with the trying seasons we’ve been having, the push to disconnect is always necessary.
