Apple Picking at Oak Glen

Ever since my firstborn was one, we’ve been going apple picking in the fall here at Oak Glen. It’s about 2 hours away from LA, but it’s worth it for the change of scenery and fun activities we don’t get closer to home. I’m a sucker for traditions, so I hope this keeps going on as they get older!

We checked out a new orchard this year too - Stone Soup Farm - and it was so adorable! It’s smaller than the popular orchards, but it was just right for our kids. Quiet, spacious, and shaded - the whole space was covered in wild berries. We don’t need the big hustling and bustling orchards right now since our kids are still small. When they’re itching for the big stuff, we’ll head back into spaces like Riley’s :)
