De Guzman Family - Milestone Session

I am always so grateful for families that return as their families grow, and I can honestly say it’s one of the most rewarding things about this work. Putting yourself out there creatively is hard, but when families love your work and return again and again, it’s something words just can’t describe.

This family’s little one just turned one, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the celebration. A studio session can include up to 2 outfits for your baby, and, if we’re doing a first birthday session, a cake smash is also welcome! Parents and siblings shots are also included, but all of this is totally optional.

Due to my limited space, I’m only able to studio sessions for baby milestones, and it’s something I absolutely love being able to do because it helps create clean and timeless portraits of your little one as mom and dad cheer them on for smiles. They’re only little once! This particular session was something also special for me as I moved away from the common “seamless paper” look that seemed to create a lot of waste and invested in a reusable backdrop that has added more depth and texture to portraits while still keeping that timeless look I love - all while putting significantly less trash into the environment. It’s a win on all ends.
