Dylan’s First Birthday Cake Smash

It’s surreal how quickly children grow, and it’s especially surreal when you’re the parents watching them grow. It’s why I offer my milestones sessions - to help you savor these fleeting moments.

This past year felt like it went by so quickly, and it’s evident as I got to take little Dylan’s first birthday portraits. His parents are great friends of ours, and I had the honor of taking their maternity photos as well. Felt like it was just yesterday! For his cake smash, he was a bit shy when it came to digging in, but after a few tiny tastes, he grabbed a good bite or two :) You just never know with these cake smash sessions - and that’s kind of the fun of them all! Their sweet and fun little personalities really shine with the interaction (and play).
