The Happiest Place on Earth
Once upon a time, my husband and I had an annual pass to Disneyland. We went every chance we could, and when we ended up planning our wedding in Anaheim, it was nearly every weekend. Since having kids though, we had only gone once… until a week ago.
I had my reservations about going with Covid still around, but after over a year of absolute disruption and learning and taking all precautions, we went for it. I gotta say, it was very welcome and so very worth it. Taking in that nostalgia and the somewhat sense of normalcy felt so therapeutic. We all had a blast.
We kept to the key things we wanted to see and do - mostly the new stuff like Star Wars Land and the Avengers Campus (Park Hopper necessary!). We went on a few rides; the kids eagerly wanted to go on Jungle Cruise too after watching the movie a few nights before. Hubby and I used Rider Switch for the first time to go on Rise of the Resistance (AMAZING), and we also hopped on a few rides as a single rider, switching off watching the kids. It definitely gave us our fill… on top of all of the snacks we ate.
Anyway, here’s a few snaps!
